Diane Docis

Diane joined Praxis in 2012 bringing more than 20 years as an educator, activist, and advocate in the movement to end gender-based violence. Before coming to Praxis, she directed a campus sexual assault advocacy and prevention program and worked at domestic violence programs in Ohio and Washington, D.C. Throughout her career, has been active in community-based social change efforts addressing violence, reproductive justice, and racial justice. Diane holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Theory and Social Foundations with a focus on education for social justice. Diane is passionate about equipping communities to drive change. She has extensive experience presenting educational programs and professional training to healthcare providers, educators, clinicians, and students. Her work at Praxis focuses on program development, design, and implementation. She facilitates both in-person and virtual learning events and advises communities and advocates across the country, strengthening their ability to drive meaningful, systemic change
