COLLECTIVE LEARNING
The foundation for change starts with knowledge.
WHY COLLECTIVE LEARNING?
Each person‘s unique perspective, shaped by their individual journey, enriches our collective understanding.

Through collaborative exploration with fellow changemakers, members of our learning communities not only redefine but also restructure advocacy itself. Together, participants journey toward more effective, equitable, and impactful change in their individual advocacy and organizations.
HOW WE DO IT
Compass Fellows is intended for new gender-based violence advocates who have been in the work for three years or less. The course grounds them in the fundamentals of a social justice framework for individual, community, and systems advocacy.

Participants explore the roots of gender-based violence and oppression, delving into the fundamentals of gender-based violence advocacy. They build skills on how to engage with survivors using a liberatory approach, with a particular focus on addressing the needs, trauma, and healing of survivors from historically marginalized communities.
ARC Collaborative
ARC (Analyze, Reflect, Change) cohorts put theory into action. Program teams implement the Program Assessment for Social Change (PASC) in concert with other like-minded organizations to examine their existing policies, procedures, and practices.

ARC asks participants to commit to making at least one concrete change during their time in the cohort. Teams work to evaluate how their organizations embody the principles of social justice advocacy and implement solutions to bring their policies, procedures, and practices into alignment.

Praxis can adapt any of our learning communities to meet the needs of a wide range of participants. We work with you to gear the trainings to your audience. If you would like to discuss creating a collective learning experience for your members, region, or state contact us.
